We are working very hard to find a sustainable solution that also ensures product safety.  It is vital that the product does not oxidise after leaving our facility, and travelling on its way to you.  Currently, the tubes are our best, but not the complete solution.

Quinine is generally deemed safe at the low doses.

Examples for low doses are quantities used in food flavorings (tonic water etc.). iüProtect contains 40 mg of quinine per serving. This equates to the amount of quinine in appr. 600 ml of tonic water. These low doses must be distinguished from the much higher therapeutic doses which are in the range of 500 to 1000 mg. Indeed, at these high therapeutic doses, quinine can cause side effects including headache, dizziness, diarrhea, skin rashes, and arrhythmias.

People, who are taking quinine as a medication should avoid iüProtect or any other product (i.e. tonic water etc.) which contain quinine. Pregnant women, children or people allergic to quinine should not take iüProtect.

As with many natural products at low doses that are generally regarded as safe, there are always certain people who react sensitive to certain natural products or allergens.
